The Pop-Up Book of Yoga offers many possibilities for a pop-up book. Each page spread could have a moving pose or asana, or a progression of a pose and include the name in Sanskrit/Hindi and English. It will also contain the meaning and purpose of the asana as well as a description and examples of the health benefits.

The pop-up could be a figure or multiple figures moving into the pose in a studio or room setting. The Pop-Up Book of Yoga is particularly exciting since it combines spirituality, fitness, and popular culture in such a unique format—pop ups!

Given the continued popularity of yoga, I have a series of pop-up yoga books in mind. For example: pop-ups of each pose of sun salutation, pop-ups of each of the animal poses (cow, crow, pigeon, etc.), and pop-ups of each of the nature poses (lotus, mountain, full moon, etc.).
